The Master Class Series is a selection of very intensive, very advanced classes for the serious fine art or commercial photographer. Students are expected to have more than mastered shutter speeds, f/stops and composition. Students are expected to have proficient Photoshop or Lightroom skills. Each of the Master Classes includes multiple field trips to optimize the shooting and learning capabilities for each student. The ultimate goal for any Master Class is to create a stunning portfolio. You need a portfolio to get a job or to get an exhibition in a gallery or museum. Students will get ample computer lab time in which to do the editing (post-production) and printing of images made from the many field trips. Regular classes may have at most, one or two field trips. Master classes may have four or five field trips to maximize the exploration of photographing many variations of the genre as possible. With six classroom sessions and four or five field trips included, Master Classes offer perhaps the best value in the entire MPW curriculum. The Master Class series are for advanced students only. Limit is 9 students per class.
