This 1 1/2-hour lecture will provide information about what techniques and equipment needed to make stunning and dramatic night photographs with shutter speeds longer than the camera's built in 30 second limit. Learn about the difference between shutter settings T (Time) and B (Bulb). Learn how to meter the scene and achieve excellent white balance. Time exposure photography will be relevant for architecture, landscapes, fireworks and even the night sky photos. Learn about noise reduction, milky way and astro photography and what kind of tripod and cable releases are needed to optimize this challenging type of photography.
