Bird Photography

Our Avian friends are amongst the hardest subject matter that any photographer can shoot. Birds are small, they are quick, they fly away. The photo gear needed to make publication quality images is both expensive and heavy. Come to this hour and a half program to learn some of the tricks of the trade of where to go to get the great photograph and the proper equipment needed. Learn about bird behavior and how to photograph them in flight.. Learn about what tripod and head to select, what lenses will get the job done and even appropriate shutter speeds and f/stops, ISO and white balance to get the job done! The latest technology of DSLR and mirrorless cameras makes great bird photography possibilities better than ever. Come join us and find out how it is done! Much of the gear needed will be on display for students to fondle.
