This three-hour workshop will provide attendees the knowledge and practice of photographing a fashion model outdoors downtown Detroit utilizing a combination of time exposures and portable electronic flash for spectacular results. This workshop is a must-attend for anyone looking to photograph people outdoors.  Bring your tripod and plenty of space on your media cards. Students will meet at the Joe Lewis Fist at the corner of Jefferson and Woodward downtown Detroit. Parking may be most convenient at either the Cobo Hall underground parking or at the Millendar Center across the street from the Ren Cen. Parking at the Buhl Building is closest to the Joe Lewis Fist.

Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod and a lens hood for each lens.  Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here. You are welcome to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot.
