  • This four-hour workshop will provide instruction on photographing a model effectively for the model’s personal portfolio and/or the photographers portfolio. Instruction will also include information about what exactly a model needs included in his/her portfolio. How many photos; how big and wether it can be virtual or must be printed. Bring your camera as photographers will be expected to shoot the model (provided) to help build a portfolio for the photographer and the model. You will have the opportunity to shoot in our state-of-the-art studio with great lights and backgrounds! We will provide instruction of posing, wardrobe and lighting tips and assist you to make portfolio worthy images.

This workshop can include the #999 Post Workshop Private shoot immediately following the conclusion of this workshop. You can get a one-hour private shoot with the model for $100.00 which may include a model release.  Advanced registration is strongly encouraged and only two private shoots will be offered per workshop.  Enrollment is first-come-first served.

Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod and a lens hood for each lens.  Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here. You are welcome to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot. Suggested tip is 10% of the course fee for a Portrait/Fashion workshop, 15% of the course fee for a Lingerie/Boudior workshop and up to 20% for a Nude/Figure workshop.

    Model will be Xania Mulvahill
