This workshop is for the Lightroom user who is looking to get more out of this powerful tool for photographers. .

We will look at advanced catalog maintenance. Merging and splitting catalogs. We will look at the tools for moving images between catalogs and file locations to further refine and update your organization and workflow.

The newest version of Lightroom introduced a major upgrade to the selection tools and editing. Demonstrations on these new features is a big part of this class.  Review your workflow to make the most of these improvements.

Time will be allotted for your questions on Lightroom.

This workshop is for some who has been regularly using Lightroom for a minimum of 6 months. Students should plan to bring 10 to 12 images to use during class.  Students are invited to bring in their own catalog and image files; either on a laptop or external drive to use in this workshop. 

Just as a reminder; all digital editing classes are held at our new Southfield campus located at 29260 Wildbrook Drive. (just east of Telegraph and just north of 12 Mile Rd.) Midwest Photography Workshops maintains a bank of 8 computers in our computer lab, but students are welcome to bring in their own laptop computer if they wish. In the event a student desires to attend any of the 200 series of classes a second time, they may do so at a fee of 1/2 of the original course tuition.
