The first session at MPW's Farmington Hills Studio and classroom is April 23, 2023. We will begin with a presentation and demonstration on high fashion quality lighting. Bryce will give information about the difference between an umbrella and a soft box; the difference between a mono-light and a power pack; the difference between hot lights and LED lights and a discussion about terms and definitions and the advantages and disadvantages of each style of lighting. Additional conversations will revolve around the differences between a one-light setup, a two-light set up and a three-light setup. Students will have some studio shooting time with Olivia Shultz the model emphasizing pinup photography.  This orientation session is the pre-requisite for attendance of any/all of the following classes for the High Fashion Master Class as we expect the material presented to be understood for any/all the following sessions. Once attendance for the first session is confirmed, attendance for the all following sessions are available.  Bring your camera, wide angle zoom and telephoto zoom.
