Join MPW for this two and a half day photo safari based in Mackinaw City. Weather permitting, we will photograph at the Dark Skies Park, the Milky Way after dark.  Expect to photograph sunrise images of the Mackinaw bridge from the beach. We will travel to Tahquamenon Falls and Point Iroquois Lighthouse on Saturday. Sunday is spent at Fort Michilimackinac. We will provide instruction on landscape Composition techniques, the use of tilt/shift lenses (Nikon and Canon T/S lenses provided). Learn how to expose waterfalls to blur the water for a more realistic portrayal and making long exposures for not only photographing the starts, but night shots of the Mackinac Bridge as well. We will also spend time making environmental portraits at the local sawmill. Class size is limited to 10 students to insure an excellent student to instructor ratio.

Transportation and lodging are not included.  We will try to help with arranging carpooling and room sharing upon request.
